as a Real Estate or Closing Paralegal. Proficiency with
Soft Pro
or comparable closing software. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High commitment to accuracy, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Closing Paralegal Preferred Background & Skills Knowledge of investor, assignment, and joint venture transactions is a plus. Ability to balance multiple transactions and work with urgency under tight deadlines. Closing Paralegal Day-to-Day Responsibilities Review files to confirm all required documents are present and accurate. Communicate with lenders, agents, and clients to satisfy all closing requirements and timelines. Prepare Settlement Statements, ALTA statements, and related closing documents. Verify data accuracy within Soft Pro, including legal descriptions, loan terms, title, and party details. Coordinate funding numbers, prepare disbursement statements, and ensure balanced escrow accounts. Deposit funds into appropriate accounts and maintain detailed escrow ledgers. Prepare and issue final title policies for both owner and lender. Oversee payoffs, wire transfers, and document delivery immediately following closings. Provide assistance to Pre-Closing staff and collaborate with attorneys and team members as needed. Uphold exceptional client service standards with prompt, courteous, and professional communication.
