Position Overview We are proud to partner with a leading middle market full service Investment bank that is actively seeking to expand its Generalist coverage team. This firm is renowned for its deep industry knowledge, exceptional execution capabilities, and a consistent track record of advising on some of the most high-profile and complex transactions. As part of this strategic growth initiative, the firm is looking to hire a highly experienced and driven Associate to join its dynamic and collaborative team.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned investment banking professional to play a key leadership role in deal execution, client relationship management, and strategic advisory within a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the execution of M&A advisory, debt and equity placement, corporate restructuring, special situations, valuation and fairness opinions, and financial advisory services.
Oversee the development of detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and strategic presentations.
Drive the preparation of marketing materials such as pitch books, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and other client deliverables.
Collaborate closely with Managing Directors and other senior bankers to originate new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on analytical work and professional development.
Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitive dynamics within the Consumer sector.
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 1 years of full-time experience in Investment Banking as an Associate, with a strong emphasis on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
Proven expertise in building complex financial models and conducting in-depth valuation analyses using methodologies such as DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
Demonstrated experience in preparing high-quality client-facing materials and transaction documentation.
Strong foundation in accounting principles, corporate finance, and deal structuring.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
A collaborative mindset with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence.
