Travel Surgical Technologist - CVOR
for an exciting job in
Plano, TX.
Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes. Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are sterilized and ready for use. Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies. Maintain the sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols. Perform instrument counts (sponges, needles, and instruments) before and after surgery. Handle specimens for laboratory analysis. Ensure proper cleaning, care, and storage of surgical instruments and equipment post-procedure. Assist with patient preparation, including washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites. Support the surgical team in emergency situations as required. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and supplies used. Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
