Base pay range: $160,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst focused on Collections Strategy, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing how the company supports customers through delinquency and recovery, balancing empathy, efficiency, and performance across the collections lifecycle.
Role
You’ll own analytics and strategy across the back end of the credit lifecycle — from early delinquency through charge‑off and recoveries. Working hand‑in‑hand with senior risk leaders, you’ll develop, test, and enhance strategies that improve cure rates, minimize losses, and drive operational excellence across collections channels.
Day to Day, You Will:
Design, test, and deploy
collections and recovery strategies
that improve customer outcomes and portfolio performance.
Analyze
delinquency trends, roll rates, and recovery curves
using SQL and Python to identify performance drivers and early warning signals.
Partner with
operations, data science, and finance
to bring analytical insights into real‑world collections execution.
Monitor portfolio behavior to continuously optimize
segmentation, treatment paths, and contact strategies .
Contribute to the
governance framework
for collections policy and performance measurement.
What You Bring
6+ years of experience in
collections strategy, credit risk analytics, or portfolio management
(cards, personal loans, or consumer lending preferred).
Hands‑on experience with
SQL
(Python or R a plus).
A solid grasp of
collections and recovery dynamics
— from early‑stage interventions to post‑charge‑off recoveries.
A commercial, data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insight into strategy.
Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to influence business decisions through evidence and clarity.
