Must have:
We require a Master’s or PhD degree in data science or a related field, with a preference for candidates who have specialized in the technical aspects of responsible AI or responsible innovation (e.g., fairness, explainability techniques, responsible AI evaluation, and alignment research). Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in data science or a related field, with a specialization in responsible AI or responsible innovation for a minimum of 3 years. Experience in model development (ML/data science, AI/GenAI), as well as data preparation, is preferred, especially within the financial services or technology sectors. Proficiency in Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, and scikit-learn is essential. A strong understanding of AI and ML frameworks is expected, while familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous. A proven track record of research, publications, or contributions to the field of Responsible AI is desirable.
Responsibilities In this role, I will collaborate with engineering, product, cybersecurity, risk, and platform teams both within the enterprise and across various business lines to deliver integrated guardrails and lifecycle governance for AI solutions, supporting Responsible AI Operations (RAIOps). I will lead a team of data scientists in developing suitable technical AI testing and evaluation methodologies for financial services, aligned with our responsible AI principles. Additionally, I will conduct analyses to derive insights for safety mitigations at the model and product levels. I will continuously refine our RAIOps testing and evaluation strategy and roadmap, leading focused research efforts as frontier AI and responsible innovation practices advance. I will serve as a technical thought partner in cross-functional responsible AI initiatives, helping to incorporate safeguards and evaluation frameworks into enterprise AI development workflows.
