Join Capital One as a Senior Manager of Global Payments Network (GPN) Finance, where you'll play a key role in steering our financial strategies and contributing to our mission of growth and innovation. In this hybrid position, you will manage and nurture a team, overseeing comprehensive analysis and reporting on financial results while communicating insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
As a vital member of the team, you will support the International Markets and US Third Party Issuance businesses, serving as a trusted advisor for global acceptance expansion through meticulous tracking and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities include:
Driving initiatives to boost revenues and optimize expenses by leveraging a deep understanding of business economics.
Formulating financial projections for informed planning and investment decisions, advising leadership on pricing changes and new products while tracking their financial returns.
Leading finance activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing revenue and expense drivers.
Conducting thorough analyses to explain key drivers and variances, suggesting actionable steps for improvement.
Collaborating with business leaders to deliver strategic finance perspectives on key initiatives.
Developing and presenting reports to senior management.
Building and maintaining models to assess long-term profit and loss impacts.
Performing detailed competitive analyses for strategic insights.
Establishing sustainable processes and continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Efficiently managing, prioritizing, and delegating tasks.
Coaching and mentoring a team of 2 analysts, fostering talent development with a focus on risk management.
Demonstrating comfort in navigating uncertain situations and collaborating effectively with team members.
Travel Expectations:
The role requires an average travel commitment of 10-15%. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience. At least 7 years of experience in Financial Analysis. A minimum of 2 years in People Leadership. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Over 5 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. At least 1 year of management experience overseeing both direct and indirect reports. This position is hybrid, allowing you to work 3 days a week from our office located in Chicago, IL, or Riverwoods, IL, while spending Fridays working virtually as part of an enterprise-wide initiative. The full-time annual salary for the Senior Manager of Financial Analysis ranges from $155,300 to $177,200, and you may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
