Role Description This is a full‑time, hybrid role for a Social Media Content Creator located in Coconut Grove, Miami, FL (we usually WFH Mondays and Fridays, work permitting, after a 3‑month probation period). The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high‑quality visual content for social media platforms. Day‑to‑day tasks include planning and executing photo and video shoots, developing creative concepts, editing short‑form videos, and collaborating with the marketing team to bring brand stories to life. The ideal candidate has their own professional photography and lighting equipment, a strong creative eye, and an interest in leveraging AI tools to stay ahead of content trends.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in photography, videography, and social media content creation
Strong portfolio showcasing lifestyle, event, and brand photography as well as short‑form video
Must own and maintain professional‑grade camera, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment
Proficiency with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and editing software
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop) and Canva
Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and storytelling
Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for each
Comfortable with both studio and on‑location shoots
Interest in AI and emerging creative technologies
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Willingness to travel locally for shoots as needed
Responsibilities
Conceptualize, plan, and execute photo and video shoots for social media platforms
Capture lifestyle, event, and behind‑the‑scenes content that reflects brand stories and campaigns
Film and edit short‑form video content optimized for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Develop creative storyboards and shot lists that align with marketing objectives
Edit and optimize using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop) and Canva
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all content aligns with brand strategy and tone
Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney) for creative ideation and efficiency
Maintain organization of files and project assets
Stay up to date on social media, photography, video, and AI trends
Compensation and Benefits Salary:
$54,500–$58,500 annually.
Schedule:
Hybrid—three days per week in the office (work permitting).
Parking:
Paid parking (approx. $200 monthly value).
Vacation:
10 days accrued paid vacation, federal holidays observed, agency closure 12/24 – 12/31.
Bonus:
$2,500 incentive for each new business lead you bring in that closes as a client.
Reviews:
Annual performance review with clear path for growth and salary increase (performance).
