Overview Jacobs invites candidates to join its Digital and Data (D&D) business unit as a Jr Digital Advisory Consultant. The role supports consulting and delivery of compliance and risk solutions to clients across manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, food & beverage, and life sciences markets.

The position is based in the United States or Canada, working with cross‑functional engineering and digital teams to translate business challenges into data‑ and automation‑driven solutions from inception to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and deploy software and data solutions across risk, compliance, production, and other operational processes within both Jacobs-developed and third‑party platforms.

Design and develop visuals and reports to provide clients with operational insights, meet compliance requirements, and support company objectives.

Test own work and review team members’ work to ensure quality delivery.

Develop creative training resources and deliver training to maximize user adoption.

Contribute to solution development for flagship program‑management analytics and AI solutions, delivering high‑impact deployments for global clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or data analytics.

0–2 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, software implementation, or consulting.

Experience with databases and configuration of off‑the‑shelf applications.

Willingness to learn cutting‑edge AI approaches, including large‑language models, generative AI, and machine learning.

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Power Automate, Palantir Foundry, AWS, Python, Power BI, GIS, and database technologies (data lakes, vector databases) is a plus.

Preferred

Environmental and/or safety consulting experience.

Advanced analytics and programming (Python, SQL, TypeScript, R, Spark).

Version control systems such as Git.

Experience with AI‑enabled solutions and services.

Compliance/risk software experience (Intelex, Sphera, Cority, Enablon).

DevOps practices and task‑management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
