Position Description

This is a hybrid, onsite position located at our client site in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities We are seeking a Business Analyst to drive requirement gathering, process analysis, and solution design for various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in stakeholder management, data analysis, and creating detailed documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories). Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities are key to success in this role. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and familiarity with cloud platforms (such as Azure) would be a plus.

Qualifications

Proficiency in leading data projects that involve Generative AI solutions to implement knowledge search, document search and summarization etc.

Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, or other reporting tools to support business decisions and data-driven insights.

Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and design process flows to align with business goals.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify gaps, recommend solutions, and drive process improvements.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and convey complex concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with hands-on involvement in enterprise-scale projects.

Requirement Gathering & Analysis – Strong experience in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements, including BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.

Process Mapping & Optimization – Proficiency in mapping current and future state processes, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions for process improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration – Skilled at working with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, QA, and project managers, to align solutions with business goals.

Data Analysis & Reporting – Ability to perform data analysis using Excel, SQL, or similar tools to support business decisions and identify trends.

Tool Proficiency – Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and other project management and documentation tools.

Agile Methodologies – Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to create and manage backlogs, write user stories, and participate in sprint planning.

Testing & Validation – Involvement in UAT planning and execution, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and requirements.

Problem-Solving Skills – Strong analytical mindset to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve business and system-related issues.

Communication & Documentation – Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings, create reports, and present solutions to stakeholders.

Compensation range: $69,700 – $195,200.
