Overview
International Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. seeks Senior Designer, Nutritional Beverage in South Brunswick, NJ, to support the development of nutritional beverage projects in North America providing technical support in person when necessary and also virtually. Responsibilities
Provide technical support for nutritional beverage projects in North America (in person when necessary and virtual). Mentor junior staff on food product development. Contribute to formulation and product development using experience with ingredients such as hydrocolloids, proteins, cellulosics, emulsifiers, and sweeteners. Apply knowledge of hydrocolloids, proteins, and flavor applications for food and beverage development. Utilize experience with Food Processing Techniques including food thermal treatments. Support product development with an understanding of the chemical and functional properties of food ingredients. Travel 10-20% nationally and internationally. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Biochemistry, Food Science or a related field. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the offered role or related occupation with relevant experience in ingredients for food/beverage development. Compensation
