Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Medical Malpractice Attorney located in Coral Gables, FL. The attorney will handle legal tasks related to medical malpractice cases, including client consultations, preparing legal documents, conducting research, providing legal advice, communicating with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel, attending court hearings, mediation, and trial, handling all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, and negotiating on behalf of clients. The role may also include courtroom representation and collaboration with colleagues to build strong case strategies.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Law and Medical Malpractice Law
Strong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting thorough Research
Minimum of 3 years of Medical Practice experience, preferably in defense.
Effective Negotiation skills and the ability to mediate disputes
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Florida Bar
Prior experience in medical malpractice or healthcare law is a plus
