Endoscopy Technician – GI Endoscopy Centers (Tualatin & Newberg)

Responsibilities
Assist the medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
Assist with procedures, perform specialty‑related tests/monitoring, and monitor sedated patients as needed.
Perform reprocessing and disinfecting of instruments.
Maintain a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment; respond to emergency situations as directed.
Perform post‑procedure duties including assisting with post‑anesthesia recovery, providing information and education, and transporting patients.
Assist with the overall delivery of patient care in the departments and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year of previous Endoscopy Technician or Medical Assistant experience (specialty GI experience is a plus).
Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred; Epic experience is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and multitask effectively.
Excellent attendance and work ethic.
Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and team members.

Salary Hiring range, based on experience and credentials:
Level I: $24.53 – $33.19 per hour.
Level II: $26.98 – $36.51 per hour.
Workdays This role is primarily based at the Gastroenterology South Endoscopy Center in Tualatin, with required coverage (1‑2 days per week) at the Newberg center. Typical hours are Monday‑Friday, four 10‑hour shifts with a day off TBD (6:30 am – 5:00 pm).
