Endoscopy Technician for GI Endoscopy Center in SW Portland
Join us at The Oregon Clinic as a full‑time Endoscopy Technician in our thriving Gastroenterology West Endoscopy Center located in Southwest Portland. Each patient receives the highest value care tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities
Assist the medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
Assist with procedures, perform specialty‑related tests/monitoring, and monitor sedated patients as needed.
Perform reprocessing and disinfecting of instruments.
Maintain a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment; respond to emergency situations as directed.
Assist with post‑procedure duties (e.g., post‑anesthesia recovery, providing information/education, transporting patients).
Assist with overall patient care in the department and other duties as assigned.
Salary Hiring range, based on experience and credentials:
Level I: $24.53 - $33.19 per hour.
Level II: $26.98 - $36.51 per hour.
Workdays Primarily based at the Peterkort Centre. Typical hours are Monday‑Friday, four 10‑hour shifts with a day off TBD (10‑hour shifts between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm).
Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year of Endoscopy Technician or Medical Assistant experience is strongly preferred; specialty GI experience is a plus.
Current CPR/BLS certification within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Epic experience is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and multitask effectively.
Excellent attendance and work ethic.

Ability to communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
