Join to apply for the Senior Geologist role at Warwick Investment Group.
Position Overview The Development Geologist is responsible for optimizing horizontal drilling programs and field development on Warwick’s operated assets. This position integrates geologic and engineering data to identify high-quality landing zones, manage well spacing, and drive continuous improvement in field performance.
Key Responsibilities
Build/update detailed maps of target formations in and around operated units, including structure, isopach, OOIP/OGIP, GOR/phase/yield, BHP/Pgrad, etc.
Integrate all operated and non-operated data into subsurface interpretation such as geosteering interpretations.
Understand uphole zones as potential geohazards, map them as needed.
Identify optimal landing zones and lateral targets for horizontal wells by studying offset wells.
Collaborate with geophysics, drilling, completions, and reservoir engineers to design and position horizontal wells.
Determine pre-drill SOPs for operations geologist/geosteering, monitor geosteering efforts during drilling, and ensure effective execution.
Conduct post-drill evaluations, store and integrate all geologic data from operations.
Utilize petrophysical and rock mechanical properties to support completion design and frac planning.
Work with data science and engineering teams to integrate production analytics and machine learning insights.
