General Manager (Propane) – Frankfort, NY (onsite)
Salary: $115K-$125K (depending on qualifications/experience in the industry)
Relocation is available, if needed
Responsibilities
Oversee overall operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, expand market share, and increase profitability
Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, including sales, operations, customer service, and technical staff
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and manage expenses to achieve financial targets
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize processes, enhance service quality, and drive customer satisfaction
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements
Qualifications / Requirements
Valid CDL license with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements retained
6+ years of experience in an operations leadership role with P&L experience
Propane and distillate experience is a plus
Hands‑on manager, tactical, and ready to be part of the team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing positive rapport with employees and customers
Willingness to work on site in the main office on a routine basis to maintain healthy employee relationships
Detail oriented with the ability to take projects/tasks through to completion
Strong time‑management and organizational skills with effective multitasking ability
Demonstrated problem‑solving skills in a customer‑focused environment
Demonstrated skills in data analysis, strategic planning, measurements, and fiscal responsibility
