Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking experienced
CT Technologists
to join our
Per Diem Imaging Pool
for both
day and night shifts . The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental standards, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to established protocols and safety standards.
Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and proper technique.
Operate CT equipment and related systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Administer contrast media as required, following departmental procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within PACS and EMR systems.
Adhere to all infection control, radiation safety, and hospital compliance standards.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to ensure efficient workflow and timely results.
Qualifications:
California CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
license
required
CT permit from CDPH
required
BLS (AHA)
certification
required
Venipuncture certification
required if administering contrast
Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience in an acute care setting
preferred
EPIC and PACS experience
preferred
