Job Summary
Compensation $40.00 - $50.00/hour
Duston Dougherty Electric (DDE) is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. You will work on diverse electrical projects, providing top‑notch service while ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a crucial role in executing projects and supporting our commitment to reliable, premier service.
Responsibilities
Electrical Installations: Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to the latest electrical codes and safety standards.
Problem‑Solving: Troubleshoot electrical issues, offering effective and timely solutions.
Safety Practices: Uphold safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with foremen and apprentices to complete projects on time and within budget.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and report to the management team as needed.
Qualifications
Preferred License: California General Electrician's License.
Experience: 4+ years of hands‑on electrical experience, including troubleshooting, installations, and repairs.
Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring schematics, and electrical codes.
Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook); experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders and working at heights.
Team‑Oriented: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, team‑player attitude.
