Our client, a government enterprise supporting the judicial system, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to join their team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of the IT support department supporting a wide network of court-related operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, which will align successfully in the organization. Must be able to travel throughout the
State of Wisconsin , including
overnight stays
as needed.
A
valid Wisconsin driver’s license
is required.
Mileage reimbursement
will be provided at
$0.51 per mile
for travel from the employee’s normal place of work to the off-site location and for the return trip, if a
personal vehicle
is used.
What’s the Job?
Provide maintenance and support for Wisconsin Court System software and hardware.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software across multiple locations throughout Wisconsin.
Deliver technical customer support to court system employees and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Perform field service tasks such as hardware upgrades and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
Respond promptly to unplanned events like system failures or natural disasters affecting production systems.
What’s Needed?
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an enterprise IT environment.
Proven ability to install, configure, repair, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals.
Excellent customer service skills with strong communication and logical thinking abilities.
Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and local and wide area networking principles.
Associate’s Degree in computer science, computer technician, or a related field.
