Personal Injury Case Manager
to play a vital role in helping our clients recover physically, emotionally, and financially after an accident.
This role is perfect for a motivated professional who thrives on organization, communication, and follow-through. You’ll be the bridge between our clients, their medical providers, and our attorneys—ensuring every case is built, documented, and prepared for a strong demand and resolution.
Responsibilities Client & Treatment Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout treatment—providing updates, empathy, and clear communication.
Coordinate and track all medical treatment, referrals, and diagnostics.
Ensure clients are attending appointments, completing care plans, and progressing toward maximum medical improvement (MMI).
Maintain organized case files and treatment logs in firm case management software (Clio or similar).
Medical Records & Documentation
Order, retrieve, and summarize medical records, bills, and radiology reports.
Review records for accuracy, completeness, and potential liens.
Prepare comprehensive medical summaries for demand packages and attorney review.
Follow up with medical providers and lienholders to confirm balances and account resolutions.
Demand & Case Building
Draft detailed, persuasive
demand letters
outlining liability, injuries, treatment summaries, and damages.
Collaborate with attorneys to identify documentation gaps and strengthen case value.
Track settlement negotiations and prepare closing documentation.
General Case Support
Maintain ongoing communication with clients, adjusters, and medical providers.
Update case progress in management software and report regularly to supervising attorney.
Assist with intake documentation, lien management, and insurance verification as needed.
Qualifications Education & Credentials
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in legal, medical, or insurance field preferred.
Paralegal certificate or FRP credential a plus.
Experience
1+ years of experience managing Florida personal injury cases
(auto accidents, slip/trip & fall, negligent security, etc.).
Proven track record coordinating medical treatment and drafting demand packages.
Familiarity with Florida automobile insurance policies, PIP, and bodily injury claims.
Skills & Competencies
Exceptional drafting and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent client service and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OneDrive, and cloud-based case management software (Clio or Filevine preferred).
