Litigation Paralegal
to play a key role in our growing personal injury litigation team. This position offers hands‑on experience in meaningful, client‑centered work — from initial disclosures to trial preparation and resolution — alongside a supportive and driven team.
Key Responsibilities Case Management & Communication
Manage Florida personal injury litigation cases from filing through resolution.
Maintain organized digital files and track deadlines in case management software (Clio/Filevine).
Communicate regularly and professionally with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and court staff.
Drafting & Filing
Draft and prepare complaints, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and mediation/arbitration statements.
File and serve documents through state and federal E‑filling systems in compliance with procedural rules.
Assist attorneys in preparing civil remedy notices, dismissal notices, pretrial documents, and other pleadings.
Discovery & Trial Preparation
Manage all aspects of discovery, including disclosures, production, and deadlines.
Request, review, and analyze medical records and bills; coordinate with lien holders and providers.
Schedule and prepare materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness materials; attend trial as needed.
Research & Investigation
Conduct legal research, gather evidence, and collaborate with experts, investigators, and providers.
Track non‑party production and maintain discovery logs.
Qualifications Education & Credentials
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury law (auto, slip/trip & fall, negligent security).
Proven ability to draft and file complaints, manage discovery, and assist in trial prep.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, and cloud‑based case management systems (Clio/Filevine preferred).
Strong working knowledge of Florida insurance law, Rules of Civil Procedure, Statutes, and E‑filling systems.
