Position: Admissions Representative (Hybrid). Type: Full‑time, Permanent. Organization: College/University.
Job Description We are looking for an Admissions Representative to join our team. This will be a hybrid position with some on‑campus and some remote work.
Under direct supervision, this role will recruit qualified students for the college’s academic programs in a compliant, appropriate and professional manner. The Representative will provide basic information, routine guidance and assistance to potential students regarding enrollment and the admissions process, evaluate and resolve inquiries, and ensure appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student, Unitek College, and regulatory agencies. Responsibilities also include upholding enrollment standards and using company‑approved materials.
Building Relationships
Take inquiry calls from potential students, provide information about programs and encourage qualified prospects to schedule interviews.
Return web inquiries and calls promptly with accurate information about programs, entrance requirements, curricula and academic standards.
Make outbound calls to prospects; participate in organized phone‑a‑thons and dialing campaigns per company best practices.
Generate new business from unsolicited leads and follow up on all inquiries that fail to schedule or show for an interview.
Follow up on interviews that did not progress in the enrollment process and dropped/cancelled students to resolve issues.
Interviews
Schedule and conduct student interviews, ensuring compliance with financial aid policies.
Utilize only approved company materials during the interview process and conduct interviews per the stated policies and process.
Explain program offerings and match the college’s benefits to the student’s needs, discussing suitable programs.
Ensure admissions management meets with the potential student and is well informed about motivations and concerns.
Mentoring and Guidance
Provide basic information, routine advice and assistance to students, following established procedures and policies.
Serve as liaison between student and campus, complete enrollment forms and assist with application reviews and financial‑aid packaging.
Help students identify their unique skills and interests, addressing resolved inquiries or referring complex issues to senior staff.
Administrative
Accurately account for all inquiries and admissions activity.
Complete daily activity reports and ensure all pre‑start paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
Keep required reports current and accurate; attend training and comply with reporting systems.
Perform other duties as assigned; attend meetings as directed by supervisor.
Pay Range: $31 – $38, depending on experience.
