Part‑time Leasing Consultant – Lake Crossing Apartments

Job Overview Lake Crossing Apartments is looking for a Part‑time Leasing Consultant to execute the property's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. The role involves handling new resident leasing, ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing lease renewals.

Responsibilities

Perform all sales and leasing activities in person to meet revenue and occupancy targets, including greeting prospects, conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease packages.

Design and execute off‑site marketing activities (resident referrals, employer outreach, internet and social media marketing) to drive traffic to the property.

Gather, analyze, and interpret market and economic trends that may impact the property and recommend improvements.

Enforce lease compliance through inspections, evictions, collections, and notifications as outlined in lease agreements.

Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, finalize lease decisions, and manage renewal programs in advance of move‑out dates.

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and general appearance of the property, reporting any mechanical or safety issues.

Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and courteously.

Stay informed about current market conditions, develop and implement marketing plans, and follow policies on concessions and specials.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Hours and Environment

Schedule 40 hours per week (part‑time). Typical site hours may vary by location:

Monday – Friday: 9 am – 6 pm

Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm

Sunday: 1 pm – 5 pm

Essential Requirements

Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled and perform job functions unaccompanied.

Works in an office environment but may also be exposed to outdoor conditions.

High School Diploma or GED; preferred experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.

License: Current valid driver’s license.

Physical: Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20 lbs independently and 50 lbs with assistance; frequently stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, and squat.

Travel: Routine local travel may be required for errands and training.

Computer skills: Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and property management software (preferably Entrata, Yardi, or One Site). Communication, presentation, and delivery skills are essential.
