The Raw Materials Assistant will partner with Design, Merchandising, and Technical Design, as well as overseas Sourcing Offices, Mills and Factories to ensure the raw material integrity of product from sample to bulk production. Support the research, development and execution of raw materials for the brand to create best overall value in terms of product, price, lead-time and quality.
Responsibilities
Assist Fabric Lead in sourcing, developing, and tracking woven raw materials
Create, input and update raw materials in PLM, Airtable and Excel charts
Partner with Fabric Lead to optimize raw material costs and lead times
Work closely with QA to ensure materials pass testing
Assist in building a physical and digital fabric library
Salary range: $20.6 - $42.85 hourly
Qualifications
In office requirement 3 days per week
Agile, nimble and solution oriented
Strong communication and cross-functional team collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills with detailed attention to product information
Actively displays curiosity, a desire to learn and grow, and an innovative mind‑set
Strong computer skills; Excel, Outlook, PLM, Adobe XD, Airtable
