Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will play a critical role in monitoring and patrolling government locations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations as needed. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and assist in controlling entry to restricted areas as required by site policies. Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Support law enforcement or emergency personnel at the location as needed, maintaining clear communication and providing assistance. Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify potential security-related risks within the government environment. Minimum Requirements
Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or hold a college degree. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Possess a college degree. Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Hold a corrections officer license. Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or at least 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate. Hold a law enforcement officer license. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
