Overview
Environmental Health & Safety Manager The EHS Manager will lead environmental and safety programs across multiple manufacturing locations. This position ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a strong safety culture that protects our people, our facilities, and the environment. Responsibilities
Manage and maintain compliance with EPA, OSHA, state, and local regulations (Air, Water, Waste, Stormwater, SPCC, TRI, etc.). Partner with external environmental consultants to prepare and submit required permits and regulatory reports. Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, recycling, and disposal programs. Lead critical safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout, Crane/Hoist, Contractor Safety, DOT, and Hearing Conservation. Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Conduct environmental inspections, sampling, and internal audits. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance and engagement. Promote a proactive, positive safety culture at all levels of the organization. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and inspectors. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
