Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Youngstown, Ohio (44504) – Ohio nursing jobs Healthcare Setting: Intermediate Coronary Care / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Unit Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing Start Date: November 17, 2025 End Date: February 16, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,680 - $1,800 Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5-6 (nights), subject to change Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (required) BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification (required) Dysrhythmia Exam (required; study guide available) Minimum 1 year of RN experience (required) 6 months of acute care hospital experience (preferred) Previous cardiovascular or stepdown experience (preferred) EPIC EHR training, Critical Care Course, CCRN, PCCN certification (preferred) PCU Nurse Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes Safely administer medications and follow clinical protocols Interpret telemetry strips, manage waveform monitors, and oversee central monitoring Provide care for cardiac (afib, CHF, pre/post cath, open heart), respiratory/COVID, renal, stroke/TIA, and post-op patients Manage drips (heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, insulin), drains, central lines, chest tubes, and wound vacs Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and advocate for patients Respond effectively to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care to adult and geriatric populations Maintain professionalism, resilience, and clear communication in a fast-paced clinical environment Apply now to join our healthcare team and discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Youngstown, Ohio!
