Apparel Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Our client is seeking a seasoned Apparel Manufacturing Quality Engineer with a proven ability to lead quality initiatives, manage global production partners, and communicate effectively across diverse teams. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, balancing technical expertise with adaptability, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This role requires a hands-on problem solver who can translate complex data into actionable insights while maintaining calm and confidence under pressure. This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon. Responsibilities
Lead apparel quality engineering efforts supporting key product launches and factory performance management. Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, design, tech development, and manufacturing systems, to resolve quality issues and ensure alignment. Manage non-conformance investigations and corrective actions across the end-to-end supply chain. Drive data-based insights through dashboards, KPIs, and reports to inform strategic quality decisions. Collaborate with manufacturing partners to uphold quality standards and deliver consistent, consumer-ready products. Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in apparel quality, production, or product development, with strong knowledge of apparel construction. Proven experience in project management and cross-functional stakeholder communication. Skilled in using project management tools such as Smartsheet, JIRA, Asana, or Trellis. Experience managing international manufacturing partners and leading teams in matrixed environments. Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications such as PMP, CSEP, Lean, or Six Sigma are advantageous. Compensation
