Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting operations including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, Human Resources, and Operations etc.

Job Details Responsibilities
Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
Manage and supervise all aspects of accounting including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
Support month‑end and year‑end close process.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Advanced degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.
Experience in the mortgage industry is highly preferred.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
