Vaco is hiring for a Financial Manager of Physician Enterprise in Cleveland OH Direct Hire Salary: 100-130,000/yr

Position Summary:

The Finance Manager of Physician Enterprise oversees the financial operations, planning, and analysis functions for the physician network or medical group within the organization. This role partners closely with leadership, clinical operations, and administrative teams to ensure sound financial management, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals. The Finance Manager serves as a key advisor, providing insight into financial performance, productivity, and opportunities for growth and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial activities related to the physician enterprise, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and variance analysis.

Develop and maintain detailed financial reports and dashboards to support decision-making for clinical and administrative leadership.

Analyze physician practice performance, including provider productivity, revenue cycle metrics, payer mix, and expense trends.

Collaborate with operational leaders to identify and implement initiatives that improve profitability, efficiency, and resource utilization.

Prepare pro forma analyses and financial models to support physician recruitment, service line expansion, and capital investment decisions.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, organizational policies, and healthcare regulatory and reporting requirements.

Partner with Revenue Cycle, Payroll, and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy in billing, collections, and compensation allocations.

Participate in strategic planning and business development efforts, providing financial insights and risk assessments.

Lead month-end and year-end financial reviews for the physician enterprise, presenting key findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Supervise and mentor financial analysts or support staff within the department, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience:

5+ years of progressive financial management experience in healthcare, preferably within a physician group, medical practice, or hospital system.

Skills:

Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities.

In-depth understanding of physician practice operations, compensation models, and revenue cycle processes.

Proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP, and EHR reporting systems).

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
