In this position, you'll work closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about our exceptional Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions available. Your ability to resolve any customer concerns promptly will ensure maximum satisfaction and help us maintain the high quality and visual standards of our store.
As a Retail Store Associate, your primary focus will be delivering excellent customer service while consistently achieving store sales goals. You will have the opportunity to engage with customers of all ages, handle cash and electronic payments, and manage store merchandise, all while contributing to a positive shopping experience.
We are located at: 420 Alfred St, Biddeford, ME 04005. This position requires you to work within 30 miles of this location.

Engaging with customers in-person and over the phone to identify needs and present suitable products. Building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately processing sales transactions in line with company policies. Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas. Assisting with product stocking, display setups, and store cleanliness. Loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed. Staying knowledgeable about our product offerings to assist customers effectively. Adhering to inventory control protocols and suggesting improvements for sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work without sponsorship. Valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. If currently employed at Sherwin-Williams, you must meet performance appraisal criteria. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED is preferred. One year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service environment. Previous experience in paint sales or working with tinting and mixing equipment is a plus. Bilingual communication skills, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
