Paraeducator‑Independence Facilitator – 7 hrs/day (Regency Park) Position Summary: Provides individual behavior intervention and medical support to students in classroom settings, assists individuals or small groups of students to enhance learning. Assists teachers with instruction and classroom management in special education and general education classrooms, lunchroom and play field environs.

Work Year: 182 work days/year Employee Type: Full‑time Salary: $20.33–$26.87 per hour in 9 annual steps (placement based on experience)

Hours: 7 hrs/day, 5 days/week Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hrs per day (full district contribution for 6+ hrs/day; 50% contribution for 4‑5.99 hrs/day)

Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics. Completion of at least 48 college credit units may substitute for the competency assessment.

Licenses and Certifications: May require a valid driver’s license, compliance with District skill/competency requirements, and a valid First Aid/CPR card.
