A bit about us:
Our client, a highly regarded New York City law firm, is seeking an experienced paralegal to join their transactional real estate practice. This is a hybrid position and offers the opportunity to work with experienced attorneys on complex residential and commercial real estate matters.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of transactional experience and a track record of handling residential closings and other sophisticated real estate transactions. Key responsibilities include:
Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including purchase contracts, deeds, and closing statements Conduct residential real estate closings for condominiums, cooperatives, and single-family properties Perform title searches and analyze title reports for potential issues Prepare and file ACRIS forms, including transfer tax returns and related documents Organize and maintain closing binders Coordinate post-closing document requirements Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, and other parties throughout transaction process Manage multiple residential transactions from contract to closing
