A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support student communication development within a K-12 educational setting in Olympia, WA. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to student success by assisting certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with speech and language services for children across all grade levels throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities: Assist SLPs in delivering individualized therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication disorders Implement treatment plans designed by licensed SLPs under appropriate supervision Monitor and document student progress during therapy sessions Support preparation of materials and classroom-based instructional activities Communicate effectively with educators and families regarding student needs and progress Qualifications and Experience: Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working with children in educational environments preferred Knowledge of communication disorders and speech therapy techniques Ability to follow treatment plans and document accurately Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Location: Olympia, WA Position Type: Contract, School Year This role provides a meaningful opportunity to develop your skills while positively impacting the academic and social growth of students in a supportive school environment.
