Float Phlebotomist – Pride Health – Tewksbury, MA

Pride Health is hiring a Float Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Tewksbury, MA. This is a 3‑month assignment with the possibility of a contract‑to‑hire opportunity.

Location & Schedule

Location: Tewksbury, MA (floating positions available in Lowell, Tewksbury, Reading, and Melrose). Schedule: Monday through Friday rotating hours between 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., with every 3rd weekend.

Pay

Rate: $22 – $25 per hour (determined by experience, licenses, and certifications).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and decontamination.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously.
• Use straight needles and/or butterfly needles for venipuncture.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Check all test requisitions or computer labels against the script to ensure 100% correctness.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples according to required temperature.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience.
