PSR Greeter – Entry Level Phlebotomist (Customer Service)
Location: Cape Coral, FL 33990
Shift: Mon through Fri 6AM-3PM; W/Rotational Saturday 6AM-10AM
Job Overview
This is a patient-facing front desk greeter role performing customer service. The candidate will be trained on performing phlebotomy and must be willing to learn. Prior phlebotomy experience is not required.
Job Responsibilities
- The PSR I represents the face of the company to patients, greeting them upon arrival and addressing any questions or concerns with care and compassion.
- Maintains the integrity of the waiting area, assists with breaks for other Phlebotomists when unavailable, and is trained on Phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.
- Creates an atmosphere of trust, explains procedures to patients, and ensures accurate patient information and confidentiality.
- Performs daily activities accurately and on time, maintains required records and documentation, and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
Job Requirements
- Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check‑ins in the lobby via self‑service kiosk or handheld tablet.
- Willingness to learn Phlebotomy skills during downtime or shift coverage.
- Once Phlebotomy is acquired, perform specimen collection and processing duties per established procedures.
- High level of customer service experience and skills is required.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of client‑facing customer service (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc.).
- Keyboard/data entry experience must be present.
- Entry position into Phlebotomy; candidates must be willing to learn this skill.
Additional Job Details
Must have reliable transportation to/from the worksite. Must be available to work as scheduled, arrive on time, and stay for the entire shift. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and will result in termination. Candidates should be within a 20–25 minute commute. Candidates unwilling to learn or perform Phlebotomy should not apply.
