Responsibilities As a Guest Service Agent, you will greet and register guests, manage check‑outs, and provide outstanding service to ensure guest satisfaction and hotel profitability. Key tasks include:

Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, and providing a welcome packet.

Assist guests with check‑out, ensuring rooms and services are accurately accounted for, using the point‑of‑sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, converting foreign currency, and making change.

Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information (room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area) and answer guest questions.

Use up‑selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.

Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues quickly, friendly, and efficiently.

Handle guest complaints, conduct research, negotiate solutions for satisfaction.

Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests.

Qualifications The ideal candidate has:

At least one year of customer‑service experience.

Proficient knowledge of OnQ.

Strong computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.

Flexible schedule with availability for evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
