We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, where you will be involved in the planning, design, and construction of residential, commercial, and subdivision projects. You will be working on all aspects of land development, site development, site layout, site design, and site plans. This role will require extensive knowledge and understanding of zoning, municipal regulations, stormwater management, grading, sanitation, sanitary standards, erosion control, and the overall development and design process.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a variety of land development projects including residential, commercial, and subdivisions.
Perform site layout, site design, and prepare site plans in accordance with zoning, municipal, and municipal regulations.
Conduct detailed design of stormwater management systems, grading, sanitation, and sanitary systems.
Develop and implement erosion and sediment control plans.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and contractors, to ensure project objectives are met.
Participate in pre‑construction meetings and provide input on potential design or construction issues.
Prepare and submit necessary documentation for obtaining project approvals and permits.
Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies regarding project specifications and requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development, site development, site layout, site design, and site plans.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
Strong knowledge of zoning, municipal, and municipal regulations.
Extensive experience in stormwater management, grading, sanitation, sanitary standards, and erosion control.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills and a high level of accuracy in work.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations relating to land development.
