is responsible for scheduling, administering, scoring and interpreting developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years old. This position shares the results of the screening with parents in a professional, non‑threatening manner and provides parents with information on developmentally appropriate activities and child development. The
Developmental Screener
also functions as a Resource Specialist, developing informational resources, networking opportunities, and offers supports available to families in the Indiana County identified service areas including at risk areas for health‑related social needs. Qualifications
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Psychology or a Human Service field OR a High School Diploma/GED and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR a High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of childcare experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Current driver's license and ability to travel for business with personal vehicle Preferred
