Aeroderivative Mechanical Field Service Engineers (US Remote) Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for an interesting and inspiring opportunity? Responsibilities

Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.

Performing all mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts as directed.

Using hand tools and small power tools to conduct general maintenance of aeroderivative gas turbines.

Executing hands‑on job duties on site, including subcontractor coordination and customer/internal communication.

Troubleshooting complicated mechanical and hydraulic problems on variable‑pitch/variable‑speed turbines.

Overseeing, overhauling, troubleshooting, and commissioning aeroderivative products at customer sites.

Leading in customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions.

Ensuring internal training, compliance, and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.

Ensuring all in‑field activities are carried out safely, in compliance with company environmental health & safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

Technically qualified with a degree/program and 4+ years of work as a mechanical technician on aircraft engines, aero‑derivative engines, or other gas turbine technology.

Strong mechanical/technical and oral communication skills.

Good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment: bolting, hydraulic bolting, flange management, small‑bore piping.

Experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).

Exemplary customer‑service orientation and experience leading customers through tough decisions.

Skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.

Deep awareness of health, safety, and environmental compliance and potential risks.

Self‑starter with the ability to make key decisions and innovate solutions.

Availability to travel 70% of the time, domestically and globally.

This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which can be found here, and is further eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.

Location: McKinney, TX Compensation: $79,000 - $90,000
