Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, Scott Humphrey Corporation is a well‑established general contractor looking for an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead pre‑construction efforts on projects ranging from $500k to $15M in value. The role includes driving successful pre‑construction efforts, managing the full estimating process from conceptual budgets through final bids, and fostering long‑term client and subcontractor relationships.
Compensation Base pay range: $110,000 – $140,000 per year. The actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The company will provide more details in conversation with the recruiter.
Key Responsibilities
Lead pre‑construction efforts for commercial projects.
Manage the full estimating process from conceptual budgets to final bids.
Collaborate with clients, sub‑trades, and internal stakeholders to maintain project timelines and budgets.
Develop and present conceptual budgets and value engineering solutions.
Support the company’s growth by identifying opportunities for advancement and higher‑level roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven background in construction estimating, with a strong portfolio of commercial projects.
Established client and/or sub‑trade partnerships in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
Self‑starter who is on track to move into a Director of Preconstruction opportunity.
