Position Summary
The Sr. Controls Engineer position requires 10+ Years Experience in design and an accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Job responsibilities are to serve as the Responsible Design Engineer and Responsible Lead Engineer for assigned design changes.
This includes providing technical oversight of design products, be the primary design engineer interface between all other engineering disciplines, vendors, and stakeholders.
Perform and assist on-site walk downs, supporting SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), support preparation of cost estimates and scoping.
Skillsets and expertise required for this position include solid electrical knowledge, experience with control narrative, experience reading electrical/controls, experience with checking cables and wiring in the field, experience with cost estimating drawings, and experience developing IO lists.
This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, decision making skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff and/or vendors.
No specific qualifications are required.
Strongly desired that individual has prior nuclear and design experience.
