Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to provide clinical supervision to board‑registered associates (APCC, AMFT, and ACSWs) and to offer support to licensed clinicians. In this role, you will provide weekly individual/dyad and/or group supervision to non‑licensed clinicians, review clinical documentation and co‑sign clinical documents, and maintain a small caseload of 2‑5 clients per week, providing individual, family, or couples therapy.
The ideal candidate has experience working with diverse clientele from all socioeconomic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, speaks Spanish, and has experience in community mental health settings billing Medicaid (Medi‑Cal). Experience treating children as young as three, as well as adolescents and adults, is essential, along with providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy services. This is a hybrid, primarily remote position, with requirements to go into our Sacramento office as needed, monthly or quarterly.
Must be willing to be credentialed with insurance companies.
This is a W‑2, employer‑employee relationship. Do not apply if you are interested in a 1099 independent contractor position.
Compensation
$65.00 per hour
Hours Requirements
5‑20 hours per week – starts out with 5 hours per week and increases based on the number of associates and their caseload.
Job Responsibilities
Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults, including comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, and delivery of individual, family, and couples therapy.
Complete clinical documentation following Medicaid (Medi‑Cal) guidelines.
Offer weekly clinical supervision to up to six board‑registered associates, adhering to all licensing board guidelines and requirements. Supervision includes one hour of individual or triadic supervision, or two hours of group supervision weekly, depending on the number of supervisees and their caseloads.
Provide clinical support to licensed clinicians and facilitate monthly clinical consult team meetings.
Co‑sign clinical documentation daily, within 24 hours, review documentation, and provide constructive feedback to enhance supervisee’s clinical skills and documentation practices.
Attend any required meetings and trainings, as needed.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.
Experience providing individual, family, or couples therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
Active licensure in the state of California for at least two years.
Prior experience providing clinical supervision is preferred but not required.
Experience with Medicaid (Medi‑Cal) documentation guidelines.
