About the Role
Cadre Energy Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Accounting Clerk
to join our growing finance and operations team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to launch their accounting career in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment within the energy services industry. The Accounting Clerk will play a key role in supporting daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders for approval and payment.
Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery tickets; verify accuracy and coding.
Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month‑end close activities.
Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
Support accounts receivable by generating invoices and tracking customer payments.
Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor accounts.
Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to ensure timely data entry.
Support the accounting team with audits, reporting, and other special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; internship experience a plus.
Basic understanding of GAAP and standard accounting processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with D365 preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first attitude.
