Assistant Superintendent

Position Overview The
Assistant Superintendent
will work directly under the project’s lead Superintendent to manage all aspects of field operations — from site preparation through punch‑out. The ideal candidate has experience with
commercial ground‑up projects
(tilt‑wall, concrete, structural steel, or site development) and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
Base Pay Range $75,000.00 / yr – $80,000.00 / yr
Key Responsibilities
Support the Superintendent in daily jobsite operations, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling
Monitor field progress to ensure compliance with plans, specs, safety, and quality standards
Track deliveries, inspections, and subcontractor activities
Assist with field documentation, reports, and project photos
Enforce jobsite safety policies and participate in toolbox talks
Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and field crews
Learn company processes and gain exposure to full project lifecycle for career growth
Qualifications
2–5 years of commercial construction experience (ground‑up preferred)
Experience on warehouse, industrial, retail, or similar large‑scale commercial projects
Ability to read construction drawings and support site coordination
Positive, professional attitude and desire to grow into a Superintendent role
Basic proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software
OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
