Title : Senior Attorney
Due to continuous year-on-year growth across Texas, expanding Attorney headcount by 10% over the last 12 months, our client is looking to welcome a Senior Attorney focused on corporate & general financing matters.
Established 20+ years ago by the firm’s founding partners, coming from a large firm setting, the firm has grown to 100+ attorneys across numerous disciplines. What you’ll be doing:
Negotiate, draft, review, and revise borrower and lender side financing documents and agreements
Conduct due diligence, including reviewing perfection certificates, title, and survey
Manage complex transactions, including real estate and asset‑backed financings ranging from $1m - $1b
Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and legal staff to execute complex legal matters successfully
What they need:
Juris Doctor (JD), admitted to practice in Texas, 7+ years of relevant transactional financing experience
Familiarity with various types of collateral and the related security interest mechanisms, and corporate governance documents
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships at all levels
Technologically proficient with experience using legal software and tools, including Westlaw/Practical Law, iManage, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite
