Administrative Officer 2 (Regulatory & Economic Resource) Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of administrative experience.

Additional administrative experience may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.

Recruitment Notes

Assist the RER Public Information Officer in processing and fulfilling public records requests related to code compliance through the GovQA System.

Review, gather, and provide records in accordance with applicable laws and policies; ensure proper redaction of confidential or exempt information.

Communicate directly with the public to deliver cost analyses, issue invoices, and guide requestors through the public records process.

Coordinate with various sections within the division, other departmental areas, and County agencies such as 311 to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant responses; maintain comprehensive documentation in GovQA and EnerGov databases.

Assist with staff training on public records handling procedures and support workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

Monitor the division's record retention schedule by coordinating the storage and lawful disposal of records in accordance with County policies; support the development and dissemination of public informational materials; assist with planning and executing outreach events; represent the division at public meetings, community events, and educational workshops to provide information on public records and code compliance processes.

Collaborate with enforcement teams, the Public Information Officer, and community partners to ensure consistent and transparent communication.

Assist in maintaining and updating the division's webpage to uphold accuracy, clarity, and accessibility of information; collect and analyze case data to efficiently process Zoning and Platting Enforcement History requests through the EnerGov system.

Provide general administrative support: responding to constituent inquiries, monitoring key public inboxes, managing mail distribution, ensuring timely communication and coordination across teams to uphold efficient operations and high customer service standards.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
