Front Office Manager/Residence Inn St. Louis Downtown Front Office Manager role overseeing guest service operations in downtown St. Louis. Manage front desk, reservations, and crew to deliver exceptional service and profitability.

Responsibilities

Maintain standards of quality guest service.

Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability of the guest service department.

Develop short‑and long‑term financial and operational plans aligned with hotel objectives.

Supervise front office operations including front desk, PBX, shuttle drivers, and security.

Resolve all problem resolution matters in the absence of GM & Director of Rooms.

Increase guest satisfaction by delivering an exceptional product through employee development.

Manage the reservation function to maintain highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling.

Maintain accurate credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and guest security.

Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

Use various office and accounting software accurately.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience in hospitality; preferred experience in front office operations.

Comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.

Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.

Exceptional mathematical and computer skills; high school education required; additional education preferred.

Ability to obtain required licenses or certificates timely.

CPR training required; first aid training preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds; minimum pulling of 20 pounds; other duties may be assigned.
