Front Desk Supervisor at Pyramid Global Hospitality will lead the Front Office team at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center Gainesville. Responsibilities
Provide clear verbal and written communication to motivate and guide the team. Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the Front Office. Greet guests warmly and professionally, making them feel welcome and valued. Handle the registration process efficiently and accurately using the hotel’s computer system. Assist guests with room selection based on their needs and preferences. Remain calm and composed during busy periods and emergency situations. Effectively resolve guest concerns and complaints to ensure their satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately and balance the assigned house bank. Accept and process various forms of payment, including vouchers, traveler’s checks, and foreign currency. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts accurately using the computer system. Answer the phone in a friendly and professional manner. Input and retrieve messages for guests using the computer system. Manage guest mail, packages, and faxes. Perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator. Adapt to changing situations and make sound decisions based on experience and judgment. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Front Desk Supervisor or in a similar customer service role. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software. Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
