Pneumatics ACM/Starter Technician

Job Description HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for a Pneumatics ACM/Starter Technician to join our highly skilled team. As a Pneumatics ACM/Starter Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing aircraft air cycle machines (ACMs) and pneumatic starter systems. This position requires knowledge of pneumatic systems, precision measuring tools, and repair manuals. The technician will work closely with engineers, inspectors, and other technicians to ensure all work meets FAA and company quality standards.
Daily tasks include diagnosing failures, performing repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications, documenting work performed, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Candidates must be comfortable working in a production environment and adhering to safety and regulatory compliance protocols.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification is a plus
5+ years of experience in aerospace component repair preferred (ACM and/or starter systems experience highly desirable)
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and precision tools
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and repair instructions
Familiarity with FAA regulations and airworthiness standards is preferred
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Team-oriented, reliable, and safety-conscious
