About the Role The position is the primary Quality role for the IQS PC production in the U.S., responsible for executing and controlling continuous quality improvements throughout production.

Location Maple Grove, MN – 5 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities

Create, track, and evaluate complaints (customers, internal, cross‑company and suppliers); support the outbound team by actively improving CPO scores and related sub‑factors.

Initiate and track projects to internally improve quality, such as FPY, rework reduction, and non‑quality expense reduction.

Control replacement or reworking of defective parts in production; propose guidelines for reworking and seek approval from global engineering for new or altered procedures.

Review performance of initial sampling of measuring machines (also corporate) and support production with continuous improvement.

Lead metrological material qualifications driven by production and development; support or drive new material implementation and machine transfers.

Perform measurement comparisons with suppliers and other production facilities.

Conduct series tests on incoming goods (also corporate) and evaluate series quality deviations; address deviations with the Quality Group and production management via PDCA, A3, QRQC.

Maintain internal risk assessments and action plans to continuously improve the quality of processes and products (CMM machines, etc.).

Perform warehouse checks (also corporate).

Evaluate and estimate potential risks; give regular feedback to production management and local/global Quality Management.

Support Lean events to improve and harmonize workflow in accordance with global production requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in a technology discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Knowledge of ISO 9001.

Experience with quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5‑Why, SPC, Minitab).

Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.

Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working in the manufacturing industry.

English speaking and writing required; other languages such as German or Spanish are a plus.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to communicate internally at all levels.

Ability to communicate externally with the customer.

Self‑motivated individual with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work based on importance.

Compensation and Benefits The annual pay range for this position is $90,000 – $112,000. The position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. The pay offered may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, and complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
